About the Clerkship Program

Our Clerkship Program offers passionate legal minds exposure to the fast pace of a full-service law firm. You will gain first-hand practical experience to the inner workings of a dynamic firm that operates across diverse areas of practice, including Commercial and Business, Succession, Family, Criminal, Property, Litigation, Wills and Estates, Farming plus more.

Under the guidance of our experienced and high-calibre Solicitor team, you will assist in diverse and challenging legal matters, including, but not limited to:

• Assisting with mediations and conciliations
• Preparing letters to clients
• Researching tasks directly relevant to matters that you will be assisting
• Taking initial instructions from clients (under supervision)

You will also be trained in practice management and administration systems, which are valuable skills for future employment, including:

• Using legal software
• Client correspondence
• Assisting with file management
• General administration tasks

Our Clerkship Program has produced high-calibre, dynamic Law professionals who have gone on to have successful careers within the firm.

The Program offers paid positions that run from November to December 2024, with a possibility of also running in February 2025. Long-term career paths available for the right people.

Our firm is located in Jamestown which is a 2 ½ hour drive from Adelaide, located in the Mid North.
